4′ x 8′ x 16mm. Knauf AR plate is composed of a core of additived gypsum, mixed with fiberglass and covered with cardboard on both sides. The visible side covered with cream-colored cardboard that has special characteristics offering resistance to abrasion and indentation; brown cardboard on the unseen side.
With its high-density core, the Knauf AR Plate offers resistance to penetration, dents and scratches; Thanks to the excellent homogeneity and quantity of fiberglass, it fulfills the function of RF plates, in terms of fire resistance in the same thickness.
