Knauf RH gypsum board consists of a core of non-combustible natural gypsum, treated in such a way that it is resistant to water penetration; covered in reinforced cardboard, 100% recycled with a green finish on the front, chemically treated to be resistant to moisture and mold; on the reverse craft color semi-asphalted resistant to humidity and mold.

The front cardboard is folded around the longitudinal edges to reinforce and protect the core and the transverse ends are square-cut. The longitudinal edges are beveled in order to facilitate the treatment of joints, and thus provide a uniform finish between plates.
